September 15th 1996, Just two days after Tupac Shakur‘s untimely death, Was the release of his 6th single ‘I Ain’t Mad At Cha’ from his 9 times platinum selling album ‘All Eyez On Me’. The video was shot months before Tupac died but the label only released it once he had passed. The song was never commercially released in the US but it was released oversea’s and became a top 20 hit here in the UK for the rapper peaking at number 13 on the UK charts. The video was fitting to the situation at hand, showing Tupac passing away and eventually ending up in heaven with other lost greats in music such as Jimi Hendix and Sammy Davis Jr. Produced by Daz Dillinger and featured Death Row recording artist Danny Boy. Reminisce after the jump to Tupac’s ‘I Ain’t Mad At Cha’ on #ThrowbackThursdays
