A Fayetteville, North Carolina Emcee who goes by the name T∆$H show cases his talents in this brand new EP entitled The Unversed. The EP see’s T∆$H rap over New York, Queens Icon Nas‘ ‘Represent’ from his debut classic ‘Illmatic’ with a track called ‘Tha Livest’. T∆$H then moves his sound to a track called ‘Suicide Watch’ which is a very dark sound made popular by another hip hop icon Eminem in the late 90s with the dark story telling giving me that ‘Stan’ vibe, T∆$H talks about suicide which is a major topic at the moment especially in America, but the good part about this track is T∆$H is rapping about the stresses but at the same time very vocal in the chorus
“You Ain’t Gotta Do This”
A line many of these young kids out here need to listen too. Suicide Watch is a definite stand out track. The EP moves smoothly over to ‘Mary Jane Watson’ which is a mix of a Jazz sound blending with the beats of hip hop, produced by The Termination which see’s the EP slow down mid way only to pick it back up again with the follow-up track ‘Dropit’ which sees T∆$H rapping at a much moe faster speed flowing alongside the beat while sharing the track with features from Hyliifaded and Ketamine Coma. The EP ends with the poetic ‘Enigmatic Man’ talking about the battle between good and bad the stresses most of us face on a day-to-day basis and wondering which way our lives will turn. T∆$H comments on his EP by stating that he see’s the beauty in simplicity :
“but what’s a world without enigma? Not this one, so I change my style up every now and then”
He states as he reflects on the recording process of his EP which he actually recorded In his home with the help of his friends who supplied beats for the EP such as DJ Z-Rex and The Termination as mentioned above. Get into this EP below and if you like what you hear then rest assured that there is more music on the way as T∆$H mentions that The Unversed is his first EP in a 3 EP series…. Get familiar with T∆$H after the jump!
So a few weeks ago im travelling home from a long day at work (Yes i do have a full time 9-5) sitting at Upper Crust in London Bridge waiting in the cold for the last train. In walks Doziem Onyeokoro better known by his stage name DizZY or also known as the Vocal Chameleon. Dizzy was on his promo grind that night pulling out his Iphone and Beats By Dre to give me some samples of his infectious works combining the genre’s of Afro beats, Pop, And Hip Hop with a touch of the London swag, but Dizzy likes to call his music AfroPop. So I listen to a few of his tracks and watched a few of his videos and usually i don’t entertain people promoting their
music to me on the street because most times it’s not worth the listen but i couldn’t deny his talent which was transparent on every track i heard not more than the killer track ‘Koma Poppin’ which features Cartiair and Lumi. The song could be a major hit on mainstream radio, already achieving over 3k views on YouTube from a video which is far from budget coming from a new artist in fact it’s uniquely and professionally shot with all the elements of dance routines, Tyler The Creator standout poses and as mentioned above still showcasing elements of London swag. The video shot in his home land of West Africa, Nigeria is a video not to be missed and Dizzy is an artist not to be over looked he raps, sings, he’s a songwriter, an actor, and he’s also a dancer. Watch the video after the jump, Follow Dizzy on Twitter/iTz_DizZy, Also Facebook/Oi.Dizzy And Subscribe to his YouTube channel Youtube.com/dizzyco69
