Only Make Dopeness
When Brandon Todd, AKA “B.Todd”, an artist from Delaware submitted to my email.. the first thing he said was “Only Make Dopeness”.. He Said “That’s the movement”. Honestly, It made me extremely curious as to what his definition of “Dopeness” was.. Needless to say, This video convinced me. B.Todd’s style is very different. No, not the “I wear skinny jeans and dance” different, more like the “This is me.. This music is genuine, and I don’t need anyone’s approval” different, which to me, is very dope. I’ve had a chance to listen to some more of B.Todd’s stuff and I even did some artwork for his next project, “
“, which according to Mr. Todd should be dropping soon. The 1990 EP will feature B.Todd blessing the best of old, street hop, Brooklyn style 90’s hip hop beats. (Mobb deep, Nas, Biggie, Etc.).. Its safe to say that B.Todd is creatively paving his own lane in Hip Hop, and I have 100% faith in his movement. The kid Only Makes Dopeness. Click the link to watch the visuals for “Chill Times” –>

Still seems like yesterday when i got the news that the Greatest Rapper of all time had been shot and killed and throughout those 16 years he has still remained the most Iconic rapper to grace the genre of Hip Hop along side his friend and brief enemy Tupac. Biggie passing was one of the most major blows in Hip Hop in the last 20 years and still hasn’t recovered since with the way the charts are looking now. Rapper’s such as Jay-Z, Nas and Lil’ Kim still holding his legency down as well as mentor Diddy and many of the newer generation but Hip Hop will never be the same. Biggie changed the game he changed the charts he changed how rappers now style their videos, Hypnotize became the blue print for videos in the late 90s early 2000s. His movie of his life became a smash hit back in 2009 denting the box office with viewed sales at $44M proving he still has that impact on the culture of hip hop fans to this day. Biggie the Greatest Rapper of All Time is still and will always be missed. RIP to a legend!!
It’s safe to say that Nicki Minaj and her twins were the breakout stars in this new French Montana video for ‘Freaks’ I mean Nicki broke out in more ways than one trust me. The video is fire and it brings back that reggae sound into hip hop that hasn’t really been heard since those 2005 days. Check out the sexy video below after the jump!

New track from Detroit rapper Danny Brown. Many people might not be familiar with Danny Brown but he is really making a splash on the hip hop scene. In 2012 he was named amongst Future and French Montana for Freshman of the year and now he wants the Hottest MC title. Check out the new track after the jump!
I think its safe to say Sway will not be invited to the Kanye West / Kim Kardashian Christening if this phone call has any weight on it. Kanye West called in to the DJ Enuff show on hot 97 to vent about his number 7 spot on the hottest MC’s list. His frustration was with long time friend Sway mainly who Kanye claims was the recipient of his first TV by the rapper and Kanye goes on to say the issue is they don’t like his new swag or his new relationship and that the focus should be on the rapping and not necessarily who he has inpregnated….. Have to say i agree. Take a listen below whereby Kanye ends the call by hanging up!
