Frank Ocean hold his first interview since dropping the dopiness that is ‘Channel Orange’. Frank Ocean talks with UK Radio 1’s Zane Lowe regarding the album, the track list including producers and features. He also talks about his touring to support the album as well as his reasons for releasing the album digitally a week early before physical shipments, which caused Target to ban the album from their stores, read below what Target hard to say about ‘Channel Orange’
“At Target, we focus on offering our guests a wide assortment of physical CDs, so our selection of new releases is dedicated to physical CDs rather than titles that are released digitally in advance of the street date.”
This led Frank Ocean‘s Manger to have his own theory on their decision not to carry the album in stores as he tweeted the following:
“Target has refused to carry Frank’s album because of iTunes exclusive, Interesting since they also donate to non-equal rights organizations.”
